Handbook - Improved Index

Is it only me, or is the handbook index inadequate. An index should be a tool that allows easy access based on key words. For me, about 1/2 the time key words and concepts are missing from the index. The 2008 Handbook is 1367 pages. The index is 48 pages. A few more pages could be helpful.

When I was taking my test I utilized Tom's book, very helpful on those test where any reference material was allowed.
