handicap access height of devices

in michigan, what is the height requirement for devices in a handicap accessible room of a motel

For switches or receptacles? I believe the ADA requirement for recepts is 18" AFF. I don't know about switches, but some time back I do remember having to put them lower than normal in a handicap room on a motel.
