Hanging 75KVA transformer

Hi,
Does the NEC prohibit hanging 75KVA transformer>? What section of the NEC prohibit hanging transformer over 50KVA?

No the NEC does not prohibit hanging any size transformer.

A 75 is not odd at all and I have hung 300 kva transformers.
 
I believe that you're thinking of hanging them above a hung ceiling. That limitation, 50 KVA, is in 450.13(B).
 
You are right. The limitation of 50KVA is for above ceiling. In this case, we don't have ceiling in the electrical room.

No NEC limits but if you happen to be in a seismic area it could get complicated/expensive to hang it.
