If someone can help me, I’d greatly appreciate. We are in new construction, and the electrician half hung our new light fixture. My husband has hung fixtures, but never one with 2 chains. It’s RH Odeon linear fixture. It has a plate with 2 chains, and one has wiring. The ceiling plate is level. The electrician threaded the wire through the one chain. Both chains have equal links, but the wire side is hanging half a link short. It is possible that he threaded it without it being perfectly straight. Would that make a difference? Any suggestions?
