I was surfing the web looking for some info, and I came across this site.
I am wondering if anyone else has, and if so, has this been discussed on the site?

Not sure what is up with that site. Says on the home page last updated in 1998 and if you got to the "Arc detection" page it refers to a study in 1994.
The information seems a little outdated:-? And take a look at the guest book entries. Seems like they were all the rage in 1999 with their "new" AFCI products

An arc waveform from 1994 is still an arc waveform in 2008. That site has a lot of information never seen or seldom seen elsewhere. It's worth a look.

That comment was addressing the parallel type AFCI, and we've moved onto the superior combination type now.
