Hello,
I was recently sent to the ranks of the unemployed, and have some time on my hands to do a little more reading. So, has anyone read, or started reading the new motor control book, and what is your opinion of it? I own a couple of MH's books, and the only complaint I have is that I need reading glasses to stay with it for any amount of time. Otherwise, good stuff. Thanks.

Hello knoppdude

I picked up Understanding Basic Motor Controls earlier in the year. It is a typical Holt publication, well written, easy to understand, and graphics that help the the more challenged learn the lesson:D

Not long after getting the book I jumped into a motor control class at the junior college, Loved it, and with Mikes book, breezed through what I needed to learn. Holt publications lit a fire with me, and in the spring I'll be taking a PLC course.

One vote for buy the book.

Thanks triplstep,
I think I am going to spring for it, and probably do what you did, read it through, then try to attend a hands on MC course, that is if I can find one in my area.

I got it earlier this year and loved it too. I do not have much experience in the motor control side of things and found it very informative. If you have experience it may be a little basic for you.
