Have a saw.....

Ok point me in the right direction here.....I have a saw in a wood shop that says 50 amps on the sticker....can I run #8 THHN's to it and put in 2p50 breaker or do I have to multiply by 1.25 for wire size...I'm having a brain fart here and for some reason I'm thinking I have to apply mutiplier....What would you do????

50 amps what? Maximum overcurrent? Minimum circuit ampacity? Locked rotor current? Full Load Amps?

I always use 125% for motor loads. I'd run #6 THHN and put it on a 70 amp breaker with the info given.
