Hazardous Classification of Waste Water Treatment Plant NFPA 70 & NFPA 820

The NFPA 820 has classified hazardous location for Waste Water Treatment plant clearly as per NFPA 70, Article 500. I want to know that whether the NEC classification recommends any guide for selection of IP(Ingress Protection) for Equipment, Panel? If so, then Is there any chart from where it can be easily selected.

Within the context of the NEC, IP ratings do not mean anything. See Table 110.28 Informational Note No. 2. (IN No. 2) The IN does refer to ANSI/IEC 60529; however, "ingress" itself is not the primary concern. See Section 505.8 for some acceptable Protection Techniques for ZONE classified locations.

I should have also noted two other things: One, Section 501.5 permits certain Zone protection techniques in Division classified locations. Two, Division classified locations have their specific protection techniques listed in Section 500.7.

Thanks for your response. I'm looking into the referred articles. I have seen some Zone Equipment marking Guideline for Equipment to be installed in Hazardous locations, Table 505.9 (C)(2)(4). if Manufacturer's comply requirements then what will be zone marking for Class I Division 1 Explosion Proof Switchgear Panel?

There is no "... zone marking for Class I Division 1 Explosion Proof Switchgear Panel", since explosionproof is not a Zone recognized protection technique.

If the equipment must comply with the NEC there are general marking requirements for all equipment in Section 110.21. In addition., markings required specifically for Division rated equipment is found In Section 500.8(C).
