Trying to get clarification on NEC 250.100 Grounding and Bonding in hazardous locations. I have multiple people telling multiple things here and i would like to do it the safest way as well as still meeting regulations.

The Equipment in question is half in and half out of a Class 1 Div 1 Bubble.

Do i need a ground rod installed directly next to my Equipment? just bonding the enclosure and frame work ok?

Any input and help is much appreciated.

Thank you! Simply bonding the metallic frame work and conduit to the Grounding conductor is suffice in this situation, correct?!

Be careful with your terminology. Grounding conductor is not a defined term, it’s EGC. See 250.122 for types of EGC and then look in Hazardous locations articles for more requirements
