Am using 24VDC ex-proof alarm lights in Class1 div 2 area. Are seals required on each alarm light or is a single seal at the boundary OK?

If this is a luminaire only, no... though it must meet other qualifications.

If the "light" also houses apparatus such as AC/DC converter and required to have an XP enclosure, then seals are required.

Thanks for the response.
Lamp is an LED type and is in a Class 1 Div 1 (EX proof) housing. No AC/DC converter, power to enclosure is 24VDC.
Gas of concern is Ethylene Oxide with an LEL(lower explosion level) of 3%

Great - you're working with a mavrick (a Group B material, that can ocassionally be treated like Group C). What Group and T-rating is the luminaire?
