Hazardous location or not?

I was watching discovery channel on distilleries and they say it's illegal to brew your own whiskey at home because it's highly flammable. That makes me wonder, Is a whiskey distillery a hazardous location? And if so what classification? I couldn't find the smilies with the crooked eyes :wink:

a lot of these shows give out pretty bogus information. a fair number of people operate personal distilleries to get ethanol for use as a fuel. how is that any less hazardous than a distillery for making corn squeezings?
