Working a project to construct a LNG Liquefaction Facility currently in the anchor bolts down phase. My inquiry is to conduit seals in underground conduit. The method for distribution of power, control and instrumentation is from cable tray through UG Conduits to buildings and outside areas. at these locations the UG Conduits transition back into trays. Reading 501.15.B.2 exception # 2 can this be interpreted to mean that seals are not required at either end of the UG Conduit because the UG conduits turn up outside the classified area to open wiring method being cable tray?
