If you have a room where flameable liquids are stored in cabinets (55 gallon drums) and are being dispenced from is all electrical in that room required to be explosionproof?

This is probably a Class I, Div 2 location but that can not be determined without knowing what type of flammable liquid you are talking about. Also, in my opinion, all classified areas and rooms should be classified by an engineer and not an electrician.

The room will contain drums of acetone and various types of alcohol.

Treat it like gasoline and if it is being dispensed, it will be Class I, Div 1.
