Hazardous material collection site.

We have hazardous material collection sites (satellites) for recycling waste. Some of these sites may have ballast, lamps containing mercury, waste oil, different types of batteries. Most of all of these sites are open air with a canopy and three walls with a fenced front with gate for access, how would this be classified?

It is unlikely that any of that would be a classified area for the purposes of Articles 500 through 503.

Those specific items you named may not be considered hazardous location for the purpose of flammability, but other items the space is authorized to accumulate maybe. Waste cooking oil, no. Spent solvent, yes.
