Looking for some feedback regarding main panel location and wire pathing for a new construction in progress. Framers installed a double 2x12 header (in a 2x6 exterior wall) above my main panel. Can branch circuit wiring be run in the 1.5" space in between the header and what will be the inside of the drywall, or should the wires be directed into the adjacent stud cavity and then up through the double top plate? Thoughts please?
