Do you all bump up your switch for the Heat to 20a?
Seems like a 1500w load would be a lot to send through a standard 15a resi switch, which is what I see over and over.

Just curious.

1500 watts at 125 volts is only 12 amps. Still within the operating limits of a 15 amp switch, even when adding the 80% rule. I've found some Leviton and Interlogic timers that are rated for 1800 watts as well. They are just a little on the ugly side...
