Heat loss information

When collecting heat loss data for HVAC guys, what's a good rule of thumb for ordinary electrical equipment; i.e. of the type that has no coil nor electronics. Just a panelboard or even an ATS's or a switchboard, etc.

i.e. what percentage of the maximum power for the device would you use?

Good question, Mike. I've often wondered that myself.
