I have indoor big walk in freezer inside big warehouse and have the following questions:

1. Under the indoor warehouse walk-in freezer concrete floor are heating trace cables direct hard wired to 120V single phase branch circuit breaker powering these cable. Please see link below company that make heating cables. Manufacturer recommended no GFCI on the breaker or circuit. Would NEC 2014 branch circuit breaker require GFPE for these types of heat trace?

2. The walk-in freezers door have door heat around perimeter of the door so that they don’t get stuck by frost direct hard wired powered by 120V single phase branch circuit breaker. Manufacturer who provide this link provided below says all local code and wiring by electricians and all NEC code be followed when installing door heat. Does the NEC 2014 require GFPE or GFCI for the walk-in freezer door heat?

I know I had some portions of this thread earlier however those were about control panel but their is direct hard wire connection to the heat trace cable under walk-in freezer and control panel separate hard wire connection for control panel power. I am also confused if NEC 2014 sections 424, 426, 427 apply to above or not.

I am not sure that 424, 426, or 427 apply to this installation. The installation does not seem to be within the scope of any of those articles. However, it appears that the underfloor frost protection uses standard heat tape from a different manufacturer. The instructions for the actual heat trace may require the use of GFPE protection.
