Heating up two ground rods.

I did it today, put 120V to a GEC with two ground rods. I got 5 amps. I was surprised the resistance was that low. One of the rods was into water about a foot, because I put it in while they were doing some foundation work and had it dug up. The other one was a little shorter after having two feet cut off*. not sure if that made it to the water.

* (I know none of us ever cut off ground rods, so let me justify why I did. About a week ago I was at the sawmill and a 9x12x16' pine cant fell on my hand and arm. Not sure if I broke anything, Im thinking it would have hurt more if I did, but could be one of those in your hand that they wouldnt do anything for anyway. Anyway, after the rotohammer wouldnt send it anymore, I went for the sledge and gave it some, but decided to stop and cut after I reversed a week of healing . )
