heavy entryway light

I am trying to install a new entry way chandelier, the existing one looks fairly heavy and and the new one looks a little heavier. How do you know how much the existing box is rated for in lbs? What boxes are typically installed in entryways meant for chandeliers?

314.27 states outlet boxes are required to support 50 lb. or be marked on the interior if rated for a higher weight.

When in doubt, I install a fan-rated box, and use two cross-bars and both the 8-32 and the fan screws.
