Isn't any. Common sense dictates though that it be above the "high water mark". The box and cover can be any combination also.

After the two required recepticals, extras could be just about anywhere. I'll frequently mount one up under the eaves for things like christmas lights and bug zappers so people don't have to run lead cords out windows and doors and other dangerous stuff like that...
Did someone stick one almost in the dirt on you?
Squishy words in the code as to minimum height - "accessable at grade level", 6.5' max height. This is for the two required ones.

I once did a service call(w.p. gfi tripping) I went thru the circuit in the house and traced the problem to where it exited the home through a bell box to an underground conduit.What i found was a pvc floor box in the middle of the yard, previous homeowner set up christmas displays and didnt want to run cords or run over a receptacle with the lawn mower so he installed a floor box and receptacle in the ground.It had rained for 3 weeks straight and the box filled with water.DIY

It is nice to see another woman posting here.
Your question is actually quite common. As the others have stated, for your question, there is no minimum height requirement.
If you are in an area where snow can pile up or the water tends to rise, you can advise the customer and plug away.
