Height Of Working Space

The disconnects for A/C Cond.units are installed outside under a deck,there is less than 6 1/2 ft. of headroom. Is this a NEC violation? Does 110.26 A (3) apply? Thanks romeo

Headroom only applies to service equipment, switchboards, panelboards and MCC's. See 110.26(E).
