Hey Guys, I'm installing a generac generator at the rear of a house,the house is raised 30 inches off the ground. The generator will be 7 feet from the house and the conduit is being run under the house. The customer wants the conduit to run above ground from house to generator. Is there a height requirement for the conduit. Her back yard is paved with bricks so theoretically I could set uni-strut directly on the pavement. TIA
 
No height requirement, but must be protected 300.4

In W central Indiana it's pretty common to see them about knee high. No conduit, they use SER #2 AL

So attach it to stairs?

How did we get from 7 feet in OP to 36 inches from house in post 4?

Probably could install a couple of 4x4s with 2x6 across in which the schedule 80 conduit could be attached.

We're going to need a pic. For further analytical conversion please provide a nice pic. ;)
