Not sure if this is the right location but.
Thanks for the add, just found this page and hope you guys can help me out here.
I'm about to start a project,
Some one else did the meter bank, and ran the conduits to the house in 2", 200amp, about 110 ft away, it's a remote meter.

My Questions
The 200 amp service from the breaker in the meter can to the house will run 120' underground.
1) Will 4/0 Alu support the house or do I need to step up to 250 kcmil?

I appreciate in advance the help. I'm still learning my way around the NEC and in this case, don't want to dump a bunch of money and effort on wire too small.
Again, thanks to all.

I am on the 2023 NEC in MA so that is what I am going by. The disconnect at the meter could be the "emergency disconnect" or it could be the "service disconnect".

This will determine how you wire it mostly with respect to the grounding electrode conductors & ground rods etc.

The wires between the meter disconnect and the main panel in the house with it's main disconnect are considered "Service Conductors" even if the disconnect at the meter is considered the "service disconnect"

So yes 4/0 aluminum is ok

Don't know what code you are on.

If I am wrong others will chime in

Thank you,
same 2023 and also in MA. Wish I could post a picture. it's and older meter bank, without a disconect. I'm only feeding from meter to the house. Meter and the drop was done by someone else a few years ago. When they built the other house in the same property.i know that if I open the meter, technically I should bring it up to code but that's something I can deal with it later. We may run a ground wire into the house just in case.
