Regarding NEC 430.74
Do seperate control circuit disconnects need the ability to be Locked-Out? Does each control circuit need its own disconnect, or can I just use one "Control Power" disconnect?
I'm asking because I'm updating a system and reusing some of the old stuff. All of the motor starters and disconnects are in one cabinet. The disconnects do not have aux contacts. The old system simply had an Estop button that dropped ALL of the control power via a master control power relay, named MCR. Control power was restored by a "Control Power ON" button. I don't think that any other provissions were made to disconnect the motor control circuits. Would this old system comply with 430.74?
I'm new to "the Code", so go easy on me...
