Hey Guy's,
I have a portable crusher project that I posted about previously. I am way out of my territory here on this thing. So anyone who may be able to answer some questions I would sure appreciate it..
I have two separate drag skids,
First skid will contain the generator and my control cabinet with soft starts etc along with a 15HP conveyor motor..The second skid will contain the main crusher with 125HP motor and a 10HP motor.
My Challenge is connecting the 125 and the 10hp motors after the skids are towed separately to a worksite.
Can I connect the 125HP and the 10HP motor via a SO type cord/cable ?
Meltric connectors only go up to 60 AMPS. And If I use a regular plug like a Hubble HBL4200 (200amp) I have no means to protect from arc flash etc, Suggestions ??
Do I require a separate disconnect on the 2nd Skid for these two motors? The distance will be less than 20' and direct line of sight to the main cabinet disconnect ?
Are there any code problems that will sneak up on me because this is a portable operation ?
