Does anyobdy know where to get some good basic literature on Hi-pot testing and megger testing on 600v equipment and below. Looking for when to use the tests and on what equipment.

In answer to the question of where to get good information on Hi-Pot testing, etc., This is where I go when I have a question on meggering etc.
The company used to be Biddle Megger Company and they are now called AVO.
The contact that I have is in King of Prussia, Pennsylvannia. That is at Valley Forge, Pa.
The engineers name is Jeffrey R. Jowett, Applications Engineer, Valley Forge Corporate Center, PO Box 9007, Valley Forge, Pa. 19485-1007

Jeff, has alway been very receptive in helping me out. He will send you booklets on grounding and meggering. I am an instructor at a local community college and Jeff has helped me out many times.
