What is a good way to alert people of cable (e.g. black so cord) on the ground, (and maybe even provide a small amount of cable protection)? I am looking for a UV/outdoor rated split corrugated loom or split braid in a hi-visibility color, such as yellow or orange (something that can be installed after the wire is in place). The cables OD are 1 - 1.3". Anyone know of any ideas or manufacturer's?
Thanks.

Or you can use a piece of angle iron (cut to whatever length you need). Paint it yellow, orange, etc. and lay it on the ground with the cord nestled in the cavity.

Thanks for the ideas. This is at a waste treatment "pond" where the level changes up to 10 feet, (which is a big change in the shoreline) and the cables feeding the aerator motors are laid on the ground / pond bottom. They cannot be buried, due to the liner/membrane. I was looking at something like this Panduit Loom, but it is not UV rated.

Is black SO cord an appropriate wiring method in the first place?

I thought I had a winner with the Innerduct!, but they say 3-4 years outdoors with the colors, black is the only true UV rated.

Yes, SEOOW-A cord is the appropriate wiring method.
