I have high rise building and main service switchboard is on the basement. The main service switchboard has 1000A Feeder Breaker which feed the 11th floor high rise meter stack which has bus of 1000A.
Two questions:
1. Is their any code section in the NEC 2017 that requires main breaker on the meter stack on 11th floor?
2. Is their any code section in NEC 2017 that requires the main service switchboard feeder breaker 1000A feeding 11th floor meter stack to be lockable in place?
