High Rise Window Washing Equipment Power?

For those of you with experience designing high rise buildings...Is power typically provided at the roof for window washing equipment (i.e. a lift)? What type of provisions do I need to provide? Are duplex receptacles typically all that are needed?

Yes, we typically supply a NEMA L6-30 twist-lock receptacle which is a 208 volt, 30 amp, 3 wire receptacle.

Thanks Ken. Do you typically locate these at specific intervals around the perimeter or just at a central location on the roof?

We will typically provide an outlet at one or more locations depending on the size of the roof. We provide enough outlets so the contractors standard length cords will reach an outlet from any side of the building they are working.
