high rise wiring

i am going to work in a north new jersey high rise about 25 story . is mc or ac the type of wiring method to use? was romex ever used in the last 15 years or so? it's for a kitchen swap of applainces. thanks for the help

In NJ, you're just as likely to find either AC or MC in a building of that age inside the apartments.
