I have techs that are stating they do not need to where electrical shock rubber gloves when troubleshooting >50V low amperage electrical circuits. They say they cannot injure, but I cannot find any documentation to support this. If it's >50V then you shall wear the required shock protection PPE. Is there an allowance when troubleshooting and electronic circuit that you do not have to wear electrical shock rubber gloves when >50Vs is present?
