Two things though I've noticed: 1) States only goes up to 200E, though not much of a concern for me. 2) When plotting States it in S&C coordinate, even slow speed fuses enter the magnetizing inrush for the same rating where as an S&C SMD-2B does not.

Of positive note- I think S&C SMD-2Bs can interrupt more than 10,000 amps in that their X/R ratio is rather worse case.
 
On the Southern States, I'm confused by the kVA column under "Interrupting Capacity". It doesn't correspond to any of the amps and volts columns.
