I was reading another forum dealing with christmas lights & was amazed how many people would recommend disconnecting the GFCI to outside lights to stop them from tripping when it rains & think its perfectly safe.
I got to thinking. (I know could be hazardous in its self). If there is that many people suggesting it, then there must be alot of holiday lights plugged into regular outlets being used outside. Has anyone heard of any cases where someone has gotten hurt because of this?
