Hello all,
New to the forum and seeking some help with my home shop electrical panel sizing. Recently moved and I am in the midst of setting up my equipment in a detached metal building on property. There is an existing 100A panel being fed by 2/0 aluminum feeders from an outdoor panel at the house. The breaker in the house panel is also 100A and the total service from the street is 200A.
I am hoping to get some assistance with the calculation of the shop panel sizing based upon the connected load, which generally speaking is as follows:
2 - Welding circuits - 50A - 2 Pole Breaker
3 Phase Rotary Converter for 20hp max - 60A 2 Pole Breaker
Air Compressor 30A 2 Pole Breaker
Mini Split Heat Pump - 30A 2 Pole Breaker
Mini Split - 20A 2 Pole Breaker
10 - 20A Single Pole Breakers - Misc Small Equipment & General Purpose Outlets
2 - 15A Single Pole Breakers - Lighting
Thank you,
Steve
