No I can't think of a single book. The field moves so rapidly the any book is OBE (Overtaken By Events) before the ink is dry. AVS Forum has sub-forums on every aspect that you can think of. (well, maybe not audio calibration)

Can anyone suggest a good Home Theater "How To" book? Covering all areas?
Thanks!

Best bet: find and hire a qualified, experienced A/V consultant in your area.

As mentioned by Speedskater, things are always rapidly changing (especially with video projectors) and it is extremely easy to make some very expensive mistakes if you're not sure of what you're doing.

For example, several areas of home theater you have to know about:

Lighting;
Acoustics;
Audio;
Video;
High voltage power;
Low voltage wiring;
Control systems and integration;
Optics; (to select right projection lenses)
Rigging; (to hang screens/TV's and speakers)
Sightlines; (to make sure everyone can see the images without someone else's head in the picture)
Decorating and interior design (to integrate the gear and make the Mrs. happy)

and more.

I have over 26 years experience in the field and still hire out others to make sure things are correct.

soundproofing is also an important element in high-end theatre projects, and it's really a trade in itself. not so much electrical/electronic per se. there's probably guys on the forum that know both sides, but i learned tons from the last few projects we have done with professional soundproofing engineers and trades.
