Working on some HW questions and looking for some help with the following question.

6. After developing your bid, you need to create a proposal that states what you?ll be
responsible for and what costs are included in the bid. Which of the following does
not need to be included in the proposal?
A. A statement that you won?t be responsible if there?s a labor dispute.
B. The analysis of the accuracy of your bid.
C. The date in which the agreement for the job will be terminated.
D. The length of time the bid price will remain in effect.

I think it is A, but this is uncharted territory for me.

Clearly this is not a code question. If the instructor is teaching how to do proposals, then the notion of what does or does not NEED to be addressed is entirely up to that person to define.

I tend to believe the instructor is looking for choice B. Items C and D seem to me to be things I would definitely want to include, since they strongly impact the cost and profit margin. Item A seems like a good way to cover your risks. Item B is not something I would want to have to defend.

Thanks for the help guys, as a LME apprentice this will have no relavance to me, I have no experince in this area nor will I probably ever. I am taking a corresponnce block of courses for my education hours and this was one of the required in the block, so far everything else is fine but this uncharted area is hard if you have no experince in it.

You might want to check your contractors state license law book for your state (or if it's on line). Kind of sounds like something that would be in there.
