I'm trying to find a way to use a 20 kw generator with load shedding to back up a 300amp service with 2- 150 amp main breaker panels. I cannot tell if the Honeywell 400amp ats has double lugs on it. I was thinking of putting in new 300amp main breaker outside by meter. Then hit ats outside with load shedding then go to each 150 which would now be sub panels. Sounds expensive. Any ideas or links to Honeywell pictures of generator switches.
