Hospital circuits

I was under the beleif that all the (branch)circuits in the hospital had to have its own neutral. i searched the code and could not find it. The only info i see is that if its in a haz. location its forbidded unless it has a common (handle tie) disconnected means. Please correct me if im wrong. where else would it be?

No, there is no such rule, (unless it's a local rule) MWBC's are the norm in Hospitals.

Now, if you are talking about 120 Volt Isolated Power Circuits, they are two wire circuits with no neutral.

I just started a good size Hospital project. I found the separate neutral requirement in the Spec Book...
