Hospital Grade Receptacle Testing

Does anybody have or seen this "performance data" in order to set the appropriate testing intervals for "existing" Hospital Grade Receptacles. NFPA 99 does not give you the interval and dumps it on the Manufacturer, of which is nearly impossible to get any failure rates out of. NFPA 99 Handbook also mentions that experiential data from other Hospitals documenting failure rates could serve as the data required. Any other Hospital Sparky ran into this or have documented failure rates?

With the State of California, they want documented testing annually.

Norcal,

Is that an AHJ requirement or Joint Commissions? We will probably end up testing the receptacles and at the end I will post our findings with a failure rate percentage in hopes that another Hospital could benefit from our findings.
