Can you tell me about the standarts regulations directives codes stipulated to settle the minimum requirements related to the hospitals..

Some of the standards you need to look at is NFPA 99 "Health Care Facilities" and standard 101 The "Life Safety Code" and requirements of joint commission.

Throw in NFPA 110 and of course NFPA 70, there is also the AIA Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities which will help as well as this CDC document

What about USA codes? Are not there any regulations directives etc to which we can access freely ? I think NEC might include these codes perhaps true? I wonder also what is the content of NFPA , only fire protection ? if So it would contain the parts related to fire protection true? I wonder if there is any special codes issued by the government about only this issue , Pls let me know about the codes to which I can have recourse whenever I need while planning a say hospital project...
