I'm installing a listed self contained hot tub outside on a 6 inch concrete pad with rebar 16" on center imbedded in the concrete. NEC 70 680.42(B)(2) equipotential bonding of perimeter surfaces in accordance with 680.26(B)(2) shall not be required to be provided for spas and hot tubs where all of the following conditions apply. I meet all four conditions and understand that I don't have to install an extended perimeter bond. Do I still have to provide an equipotential bond to the rebar?
680.26(B)(3) states that all metallic parts of the pool structure, including reinforcing metal not addressed in 680.26(B)(1)(A) shall be bonded. Thanks!!
