Hot tub disconnect change ?

In the past a hot tub (or pool) disco had to be a min of 5' from the tub wall per 680-12. It now appears the article has been re-written (680.12) to exclude the 5' min. It seems now you could place the disco at the tub provided it is readily accessible. Something does'nt sound right here. Am I missing something? Should we consider this a "switch"? This would be a ridiculous change IMO. Is anyone here on a CMP that could shed some light on this. I do not have a ROP here.

I found it. 680.22. It was a relocate.
