Hot Tub Equipotential Bonding

2005 NEC 680.26 appears to address equipotential bonding for POOLS only and not hot tubs. Can I assume that the only boding requirements for a listed and packaged hot tub is to be found in Sec. 680.42 b?

First is your area using the 2005 NEC?

Second is the hot tub inside or outside?
 
Section 680.42 of the 2005NEC requires you to follow Part II of art. 680. Part II req. equipotential bonding in 680.26
 
...which should be overlooked if your inspector is up to speed on why exactly the requirement changed - the CMP didn't realize that 680.26 applied all those years.

90.4 would permit the AHJ to enforce the latest code.

How does on effectively bond a deck that is surrounding the tub on two sides?
