Hot tub Gfi Disconect

Is there a certain distance that a hot tub gfi panel needs to be installed from the tub. It is outside someones home.

Have never installed hot tubs in anything but resi but 680-12 would require disconect more than 5 ft away and then 680-41 would require a saftey stop within 5 feet of tub. So you need both ? On other than single family dwelling.
And then 680-44 would reguire a GFi breaker as the disconect within sight?

Think about it this way-column A- single family homes, column B- everywhere else.
An emergency stop button is required for column B and needs to be within 5' of the hot tub.

680.44 deals with self contained units. The place where you plug it in must have GFCI protection.
