Hot tub outlet

I see 680.43 A 1 applies to hot tubs indoors. What about when they are outside? What are the requirements for an outlet, min and max distance from tub? Is the answer 680.22 A 1? >6' and <20'?

Yes (the disconnect would have to be 6' to 20'), also if the disconnect is plug and cord the cord would have to be installed by the manufacturer.
