hot tub perimeter bonding

Im putting a hot tube directly on the ground with no concrete, pavers, or decking, just sitting on the grass. do i need some type of bonding ring or mesh?
 
You still need an equipotential bonding ring. Depends on what code cycle whether it needs a mesh or perimeter bonding.
