All the hot tubs in residential that we have installed have always been 220V 50-60A. We have always installed a 50A GFCI Disco and if we had to install a GFCI receptacle within 10ft or no closer than 6ft we would.
We have a customer that is getting a 110V spa. I'm not sure on the amps.
We have never installed one of these. Do they plug into a regular dedicated 20A GFCI receptacle? If it does. Does the receptacle need to be within 10ft but no closer than 6ft?
