Can the 60 amp circuit on a feed to a hottub be cord and plug connected and would that serve as the disconnecting means required in sight of the controller?

Cord and Plug Connections. Cord and Plug connection with a cord not longer than 4.6m (15 ft ) shall be permitted where protected by ground-fault circuit interrupter.
