Hourly rate for time and materials in Northeast Ohio

I was curious what others are charging in this area of the country.

Northeast Ohio is a rather depressed area with most manufacturing jobs already gone. I don't want to price myself out of the market, but I don't want to go broke either.

Does anyone know what the going rate here in this area is?

Why don't you call a couple of the biggest contractors in your area and tell them you have some switches you want changed and a receptacle that does not work and your wife wants some fixtures changed and ask them if they have an hourly rate and how much it is. Don't go by the smaller 1 man shows that may or may not be around next year due to them trying to undercut everyone to get business. Please don't think that I am talking about people on this board. I'm talking about the 1/3 of the people that are in the couple year old phone books in my area that are not in business anymore because they didn't know how to charge enough to stay in business.
